Happy New Years, friends! The past few months have been pretty epic and this week comes at no exception. My band (The Future Buds) and I dropped our first session on the Sugarshack Music Channel. This is a milestone I've really been looking forward to since the start of my career. It would mean the world if you checked it out! Link below.

My goal for the New Year.. Well, it spans into many areas of my life and I'm sure you don't care to hear them all. Okay fine, I'm telling them all. Work-wise, I'd like to travel more to play some shows (Is that really work?). I'm super blessed. I'd like to record lots of new music. I've got a new album in the works titled Skipping Stones, keeping with the alliteration theme from my past albums. I'm cheesy like that. Health-wise, I'd like to get into the gym more often. Original right? I'm trying to take more time for enjoying the journey rather than the destination. My meditation practice continues at about 15 minutes every day, but I'd like to increase that to 30 minutes. Anyways, thank you for listening (or reading) me ramble. Please let me know your goals for the New Year. I'd love to hear em.

Our first Sugarshack Session is LIVE!

Books I'm Reading

I recently finished reading Prisoner B-3087, a book going through the true story of a young boy named Yanek and his experience in concentration camps in the 1940s. I won't spoil too much, but it's crazy what this child faces and the horrendous capacity of  humans as well as the willingness to survive. Yanek goes to 10 different concentration camps over the years, looses his entire family, and endures so much trauma. During this read, all my problems seemed so insignificant. It's wild what we take for granted on a day-to-day basis. Anyways, I highly recommend this read. You definitely will not regret it, but be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.

Music I'm jamming out to

Recently I discovered my new favorite band, thanks to the recommendation from my friend Logan. Any 90s kids out there? This band will take you right back to the pop-punk days. It's sort of like All American Rejects meets heavy breakdowns. That's probably a bad description, but you get the point. If you're looking for a fun band to jam out to, Origami Angel is where you should go. Rock on..
